Father, Life-giver,
Creator.
Son, Love incarnate,
Redeemer.
Holy Spirit, Gift of love,
Breath of God.
Mystery of Love.
Pentecost II
Expect to be surprised
by the Spirit.
With eyes and heart open,
faith and courage strong,
accept the Pentecost challenge:
Be a witness to the Good News
sharing the Gift of the Spirit
not counting the cost.
Pentecost I
Wake me
from my complacency.
Stir
the dormant ashes.
Ignite
the sparks into flame
to boldly make
the proclamation
“of the mighty acts of God.”
Remove my cowardly spirit
transform me to be
strong, loving and wise.
