first sign of dawn.
The faithful women are
greeted with a question.
Why look among the dead
For someone living?
Could this mean…..
could this possibly mean?
Yes!
Christ radiant and triumphant
rose from the dead.

Loves’ redeeming work is done.
The price has been paid.
Shouts of praise and alleluia
fill the earth.
Christ is alive!
Because He lives
I too will live.

Awaken me to the wonderful news
of the Risen Christ.
May I be graced to
become Christ-centered.
Impelled to reach out to others.
Develop an attitude of gratitude
knowing I have been redeemed!
