Lent is a journey through the desert, seeking Christ and praying with him in the desert.
Lent is going from slavery to freedom (serving out of love).
Lent is doing spring cleaning; getting rid of things we don’t need, things others could use.
Lent entails letting go of faults, biases and or addictions that enslave us.
This helps to lighten our journey through the desert and through life.
Lent is a kind of template for my life’s journey.
