By Sister Stefanie MacDonald, OSB
The Benedictine Sisters had some fun this afternoon during our annual Halloween party.
We had cookies and punch and plenty of laughter as the Sisters showed off their costumes.
Sisters Margaret (a sunflower) and Marilyn called Bingo numbers, with winners getting small packs of tissues and greeting cards.
Sister Margaret read a poem about a sunflower.
And I read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom to explain my costume. If you can’t tell, I’m a coconut tree. Read the book – or ask a preschooler – to find out why!
I’ll be wearing the same costume tomorrow at school for our Halloween party there.
No need to explain my costume to the kids! 🙂
