I was a young college student when our paths first crossed. I was struggling both with classwork and with my choice of major.

Sr. Bernadine helped me discover that my lifelong academic problems were the result of a learning disability, and not being stupid. What an amazing experience. The doors that opened for me seemed endless!

Sr. Bernadine helped me find my way to my own heart’s desire, which – as it turned out – was elementary education and not instrumental music. She helped me find the right college for me (a small Catholic school that has since merged and become a different place altogether).
