When I walk down to our lake, I am aware of how the water ripples, moves in and out. The boundaries change over and over again.  I see rocks on the bank of the lake, the next minute I see water, then weeds. Change is the nature of the flowing water.

Lent is about changing the threshold. It is about changing the boundaries.  It is about surrendering the things I thought I had surrendered … and surrendering them again.  It is about being humble, being little again, saying to the Lord, you gave all, here take this little piece of me. It’s about transformation. It is about an Easter spirit of new life. It is about saying, Yes. Blessings in your journey.
